How I wish Barrett would respond

Sen Feinsten: Judge Barrett! Do you want to overturn Roe?!

Sen Graham: You don’t have to answer that question!

Judge Barrett: I’ll answer the question. You want answers?

Sen Feinsten: I think I’m entitled to them.

Judge Barrett: You want answers?!

Sen Feinsten: I want the truth!

Judge Barrett: You don’t believe in objective truth!

Senator, we live in a world with unjust laws, and those laws need to be struck down by judges who understand Natural Law. Who’s gonna do it? You? You, Senator Harris? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Planned Parenthood, and you curse pro-lifers. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of pretending not to know what we ALL know – that an unborn child’s death is tragic, and that every abortion destroys two lives; and my judicial philosophy, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, will save lives.

You don’t believe the truth because deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you know that an unborn child is protected by the Constitution.

We use words like “morality,” “justice,” “virtue.” We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending the unborn. You use them as a punch line.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a committee who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedoms that the Constitution guarantees, and then denies those freedoms to the unborn.

I would rather that you just said “sorry” and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up St. Thomas and learn how to properly argue. Either way, I don’t give a DAMN what you think you’re entitled to!
